Karen's been involved in one form of art or another for as long as she can remember. She's a third generation artist and has always had access to materials and instruction from her favorite artist, her dad. Karen's primary focus over the years has been in watercolor, stained glass and now she's studying (and having fun with) lampworking. Her sister-in-law invited her to take a class with her and after lighting up the torch, melting the glass and forming her very first bead she knew she was hooked.

Karen has and will continue to take classes, experiment and search her mind for new ideas and techniques that can be applied to the creation of beads and jewelry. Those who know her would probably be the first to tell you her mind is definitely an original.
